Established in 1919, Hartwell Plc is now a leading automotive group which owns the site and previously ran the Smithfield garage. However, in the last 100 years the company has grown geographically throughout the UK and diversified into property investment and development.
On this journey Hartwell Plc has built up a substantial property portfolio where it holds the freehold interest as an investment. Their properties are then leased to organisations from start-ups up to large PLCs, with its own in-house facilities management team controlling the day-to-day operation of its sites and properties.
