Phoenix Yard’s Joanne Churchill and Mark Scrivens will be joining industry leaders at The Business Desk’s upcoming “Insight into Birmingham’s rapidly developing Creative Quarter” event to discuss the future of Digbeth and Birmingham’s evolving creative and commercial landscape.

Taking place in at Fazeley Studios in Birmingham on Wednesday 15 July 2026 from 12pm to 3pm, the event will bring together leading voices from across property, regeneration and investment to explore the opportunities, challenges and momentum shaping one of the UK’s most exciting urban districts.

Joanne and Mark will share insight into the vision behind Phoenix Yard and the role mixed-use regeneration can play in supporting Digbeth’s continued growth as a thriving creative quarter.

Located at the gateway to Digbeth, Phoenix Yard is set to create a vibrant new neighbourhood workspace, homes, hospitality and public realm, designed to complement the area’s distinctive character while supporting its next chapter.

Joanne Churchill said: “Digbeth continues to evolve as one of Birmingham’s most exciting and distinctive destinations, attracting investment, creativity and innovation. With The Birmingham East Mayoral Development Corporation recent announcement with its aim to assist projects in Digbeth, Smithfield and the city centre, I’m looking forward to joining the discussion on how developments such as Phoenix Yard can help support the area’s long-term growth while respecting the character and energy that make it so unique.”
